WHAT we do!
The purpose of The Covenant at Sugar Grove is to be an example of the New Testament church by worshiping God and making disciples of Jesus Christ by edifying, equipping, and encouraging its members.
Edify
Edify – Teach and study God’s Word for instruction and practical application in our lives, understanding that it is the means by which a believer is able to develop a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
Equip
Equip – Prepare members to identify and utilize their God-given spiritual gifts and provide training opportunities for the development of those gifts for ministry.
Encourage
Encourage – Provide an environment where all feel welcome; maintain a haven of genuine concern for one another; and provide spiritual, emotional, and physical support to the body of believers.
HOW we do it!
Worship
Worship. We focus our attention on God by offering our worship and receiving His instruction. After lifting our voices in inspirational music, we unpack the mysteries of Scripture. The Bible is God’s Word to man – a Book that is alive and relevant to our lives today.
Learning
We believe that within every human heart, God has placed a need to know Him. For those who have recognized that need and want to know more, we are committed to helping them understand who God is and how to have a saving, intimate, and abundant relationship with Him.
Serving
At The Covenant at Sugar Grove, you will find open doors, open hearts, and an open desire to care for one another. We joyfully accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others.
Outreach
We boldly proclaim God’s saving grace through His Son, Jesus Christ, and welcome everyone to enjoy the warmth and excitement we share.
